Market Day

I drew this after a trip to Italy a few years ago where we stumbled across the amazing Verona Mio Fiore and I ate my body-weight in the most delicious olives and ricotta from the market. Everyone was full of life and laughter and there were so many beautiful colours of flowers and produce all around. I wanted to play with perspective from a child’s point of view in this illustration; how they would view the market stalls from their height and how that makes everything look more exciting!
