I’m Bryony, a freelance illustrator and general stuff-maker from the South Coast of England. I use lots of sketchy linework with digital painting techniques to create lively, vibrantly colourful illustrations with playful concepts.
I love to illustrate for children, but my style lends itself to a wide variety of applications and audiences – I have had work licensed or commissioned by clients such as Mighty Kind Magazine, Samsung, Tesco Books, Powell Publishing, Purely Boys, Haystack Records and Digital Artist Magazine, for projects ranging from magazine illustrations and tutorials, to greetings cards, point of sale, surface pattern design, and CD artwork.
After graduating I was chosen as an illustration semi-finalist in the Adobe Design Achievement Awards, and in 2012 I won the Sky Arts Ignition: Creative Wish Brighton prize, voted for by the public.
In the last few years I’ve been a bit quiet online, busy juggling commissions with babies in my lap, but I’m back to work now with a new portfolio! If you’d like to keep up to date with my very latest work be sure to check out my Instagram feed here.
